I'm Romina!
Here's the thing about me: I'm kind of obsessed with being nice to everyone, I can't hold a grudge to save my life, and I'm one of those glass half full kind of people. I cherish life and believe one of the most important things is to live life to the fullest and to make the most of every possible moment. I'm always giggling and smiling, to the point that I was once voted "most likely to be smiling all the time". Kind of adorable, right? I do my best to only add good and positive things to the world, because there's enough negativity out there as it is. (That sounds mildly hippy like, doesn't it?)
Quick backstory, I'm originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, but I moved to the Tampa, FL area when I was 2 years old. Despite how young I was when I came over, I speak Spanish fluently and my Argentine culture is ingrained into who I am. Maybe that's why I'm such a night owl? When I'm not shooting, you'll find me out with friends & family, jumping around in a pit at a concert, or crossing state lines on my way to my next impromptu adventure. I'm always on the hunt for something new or exciting, whether its trying a new rooftop restaurant downtown or randomly becoming a tennis player.
So, with that being said, I think you might see how I ended up as a wedding photographer! A wedding day is one of the most special and happiest days, and it is such a dream to photograph them. I thrive off of the hectic energy on a wedding day, and my goal is for you to have the chance to love every second of it, to cherish those once-in-a-lifetime moments and be present as the day unfolds, the wonderful chaos and all! I want you to smile and laugh and be so overwhelmingly filled with joy, and to then have beautiful photographs of those moments to look back on for the rest of ever.
& here's the thing about working with me: to me, its not just a business transaction. I genuinely have such a love and passion for what I do, and I'd like to think that it shows in my method of work. My heart is so full of love for each human that puts their trust in me, and it is so important to me that I get to know you along the way. Because in knowing you, I grant myself the ability to understand what you value most. I want to do my part in making this one of the happiest days of your lives, and capturing photos that show that. Sooo what are you waiting for?

My sappy backstory that no one asked for :')
Everyone always wants to know: what made me become a photographer? Not to be cliché or anything, but I have literally always loved photography, as far back as I can remember! At 8 years old, I was gifted a little pink point-and-shoot camera and I used to go around the house, taking random photos of my family, of our cats, of the flowers and the grass and just about anything I could think of. It followed me throughout the rest of my childhood and teenage years, and I genuinely, genuinely loved it so much. Not to mention, you knowwww my VSCO page was popping in high school! When I graduated, I was gifted my first DSLR, my first professional level camera. I spent the rest of that Summer absolutely obsessed, watching YouTube videos and practicing all the time. I was so eager to learn more and my love for photography only grew with each little tip and trick I learned. It was so much more real now, and it very quickly became my favorite thing in the world. That summer officially cemented photography's place in my life!
Once I started undergrad, I started running through all these career possibilities, and I was absolutely stumped. I couldn't decide what to do with my life, and nothing felt right. Meanwhile, I had started a minor in Studio Art and was taking every photography course my university offered. Then one day I came to the realization that I could turn this love and passion that I had for photography into a career! That I could make a living off of this thing that gave me sooo much happiness. Years later, I've graduated and I'm actually doing it! My dream job that I first thought of as this far-fetched crazy idea, and now it's my reality. Sometimes it doesn't even feel real.

So, with that being said, when you see me gushing and ranting about how much I love my job and adore what I do? Just know that I 100% mean it. I've waited my entire life to reach this point in my life, and I cherish every second if it. I love what I do SO MUCH & I feel like the luckiest person in the world to have discovered this passion of mine from such a young age. To know that I'm living my life to the fullest and doing what makes me happiest every single day, is something that I will never, ever take for granted. & every single one of you that helps this dream be my reality? Whether you book with me, refer me to a friend, or just like my post on insta, I appreciate it more than you'll ever know! It means the absolute world to me, so thank you, from the very bottom of my heart <3
favorite pastime
A big thing about me is that I absolutely ADORE going to concerts! I've been to over 60 concerts in my life, in 5 different states, and I'm no where near stopping. Who's next?

In 2001, I moved from my home country, Argentina, to the US. Its so special to me every time I get to go back & explore my home country with my cute fam! & eat some goodddd food :P
In 2021, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of South Florida with my Bachelors in Marketing with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and a minor in Studio Art. Go Bulls, am I right?

I'm a biggg people person, and these are my people! My friends are a big part of my life, and I adore each and every one of them (even the ones not pictured :P)
