Hi! My name is Romina Raggio, and I'm a photographer based in Tampa, Florida. Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, I speak both Spanish and English fluently. I've been in the Tampa area since 2001, so you could say I'm a bit of a local.
I was gifted my first professional camera when I graduated high school, and it very quickly became my favorite thing in the world. I've since received a Bachelor's degree in Marketing Entrepreneurship with a minor in Studio Art from the University of South Florida. Now, as a recent college graduate, I am ecstatic to focus full-time on growing and nurturing my small business. I absolutely adore the art of photography and the creativity it allows me to have in my every day life. Not to mention, I am so fortunate to have a job where I get to spend every day meeting lovely new friends!
I love photography so much because it gives me so much joy to know that I can help in capturing memories and creating something that you will cherish forever. The photos we take together are for YOU, and I love it more than you'll ever know. Nothing makes me happier than delivering photos & hearing a client gush about how much they love them.
I can guarantee that I'll give every shoot and every photo my all. Some might call me a bit of a perfectionist, but it's so important to me that I'm delivering a product that we both love. As far as the shoot goes, I like to joke around and have fun! I want my clients to enjoy our shoot just as much as I do.
My sappy backstory that no one asked for :')
Everyone always wants to know: what made me become a photographer? Not to be cliché or anything, but I have literally always loved photography, as far back as I can remember. I used to ask for a camera every year for Christmas, until eventually I got a tiny pink point-and-shoot Coolpix camera, and it was the actual best day of my life. I used to go around the house, taking random photos of my family, of our cats, of the flowers and the grass and just about anything I could think of. I was maybe 8 years old at the time? It followed me throughout the rest of my childhood and teenage years, taking Art and Photography classes for every elective I could. I genuinely, genuinely loved it so much, and you knowwww my VSCO page was popping in high school. When I graduated high school, I was gifted my first DSLR. My first professional level camera, and I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. I was so clueless that I couldn't even figure out how to actually take a picture, had to google it and everything! I spent the rest of that Summer absolutely obsessed, watching more YouTube videos than breathing, just about. Once I started college, I start running through all these career possibilities, and I was absolutely stumped. I couldn't decide what to do with my life, until one day I came to the realization that I could turn this love and passion that I had for photography into a career! That I could make a living off of this thing that gave me sooo much happiness. Years later, I've graduated and I'm actually doing it! My dream job that I had started seeing as this far-fetched crazy idea, and now its my reality. Sometimes it doesn't even feel real.
So, with that being said, when you see me gushing and ranting about how much I love my job and adore what I do? Just know that I 100% mean it. I've waited my entire life to reach this point in my life, and I cherish every second if it. I love what I do SO MUCH & I feel like the luckiest person in the world to have discovered this passion of mine from such a young age. To know that I'm living my life to the fullest and doing what makes me happiest every single day, is something that I will never, ever take for granted. & every single one of you that helps this dream be my reality? Whether you book with me, refer me to a friend, or just like my post on insta, I appreciate it more than you'll ever know! It means the absolute world to me, so thank you, from the very bottom of my heart <3
